Ashkan Ashkpour, PhD

Data Architect · Scientific Researcher · Harmonization · Linked Data · Co-Founder

Starting my scientific career as a Master in Economics and Informatics, I continued to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment during my PhD and Postdoc projects, more specifically at the cross borders of Social Sciences and Computer Science, often referred to as the Digital Humanities. My research interests span from data harmonization and modeling, ontologies and classification systems, to Linked Open Data and Semantic Web technologies. Currently I'm working as the Data Architect of the City of Delft, developing a generic and scalable datamodel for all municipalities in the Netherlands.
